Homos and Heroes

Something hit me just today. I saw a cow trying to mount another cow. The thought came to me that homosexual people say that homosexuality is natural. I have had these conversations with my gay friends and I agree to an extent. I do believe that you can be born gay. The bible says we are born into sin. And it even mentions a thing I am cursed with called generational curses.

But the beauty of the whole thing is that even though a person may be born with homosexual tendencies, I don’t believe that God has called us to stay that way. We were born into sin (Psalm 51:5) but that doesn’t mean God wants us to continue to sin. Humanism is no excuse because God has given us way. His name is Jesus. His blood covers a multitude of sins plus through Him we can do all things that are in accordance to His will (Phil.4:13) because He gives us the power and the desire to do them(Phil. 2:13).
God has not called “people” to be natural. He has presuppositioned us to be better than any other animal. That is why He gave us dominion over them in Genesis 1:27-28. He expects more from us than what he expects from other animals. So to use the excuse that monkeys and dogs and cats and even cows do it, is no excuse for us. We are made better than that. God expects more because we are His “chosen” creation. If we weren’t, then Jesus should have came in the image of what is His chosen creation. I think He did.

So through Him we CAN do better. If you are a homosexual reading this, or in any kind of habitual sin for that matter, you can change through the power of the Holy Spirit. God doesn’t want you to continue in that sin. Your better than that. I think so. God thinks so. What do you think. I guess that is the ultimate question!!!!!!!!!

Ok, Ive read what you have to say and Im just going to voice my opinion which you are totally not going to agree with.
If God is all knowing, all powerful, all loving n so on and if He is the creator of all things and we are created in his image, then surely the fact that a person is gay is because God allowed them to be gay, God’s true message is that of love, it is not of hate, or intolerance or mistrust, His message is a message of love.
If a person loves another person of the same sex or is drawn physically and emotionally to people of the same sex it is not a sin.
The Bible may be the word of God in many people’s opnions but it is the word of God through man. Man as we all know are not beyond twisting messages, this Holy Book was put together around 500 years after the death of Jesus Christ, many scriptures and other books of teachings were discarded, even though they were said to also document the message of God and the message of Jesus.
Examine the history of the Catholic church and you will find that at the time of the creation of the Bible, the church was under threat, it needed a doctrine that would bring people under control, remove questions, remove free thought and replace it with guilt and fear.
The catholic church did that extremerly well.
Look at women for example, to educate a women, to allow her to take part in a holy ceremony, to even allow her to speak before being spoken to, that for centuries was considered a sin, yet now the world wants equality for women. Why are homosexual people any different from that, they have all the same to offer as the rest of us do, they are no less human. They love the same way we do they feel the same way we do, just because they are attracted to people of the same sex does not mean that they are unworthy of Gods love. If there is a God i seriously doubt that he dissaproves of homosexuals, its more likely he disaproves of war in his name, of war in general, of intolerence, of injustice, of corruption and of ignorance. He is also probably a lot more angry about the fact that the species he created to look after this planet is quickly destroying it withou much remorse.

That is my opinion, if a person is homosexual, straight, bisexual, asexual, so long as that person is happy, loves the people around them and treats the world with love and respect it is highly unlikely that God would cast them out. The message of the Bible is love, not hate.
