In addition, there is not as much inhaled smoke. There has been at least one study that shows that pipe smokes actually live longer. If you have a chance you should glance over this short web page:

I really enjoy smoking my pipe. I don’t do it all the time but about once every couple of days. I love the smell of the tobacco just sitting on my table beside my couch. I often thought if I quit smoking a pipe, I’d still buy the tobacco and set it out because of the smell, lol.

Hey, Chris smokes a churchwarden pipe. He has never smoked a cigarette ever but loves his pipe. He doesnt do it all the time, just every once in a while if the kids are in bed and we are sitting up watching a movie. It does smell good. In fact, we keep a little of the tobacco in the car glove box to make it smell good in the car. Hehe.

Aunt Ann, I do appreciate your concern. The one thing and the only justification that I can find is that pipe smoking is a TAD different from the use of other tobacco uses in only one major way. The tobacco for pipe is note nearly as addictive as the other uses because you don’t inhale the smoke nor is there near the amount of narcotics involved with the tobacco used in pipe. There are as we learned this weekend different sorts of tobaccos. So the tobacco in cigarettes and the tobacco in cigars and the tobacco in chew and the tobacco in pipes can not be compared.

There is no justification to say that any tobacco is good for you. But there are alot of things in this world that are not good for us. I will agree that this is not a justifiably case. However, that doesn’t stop me, lol. Nor have I said that this will be a continuous thing. I am trying it cause I have always wanted to and so far, I have enjoyed it. So we’ll see.

I just had to say something after reading this. YOU NUT hee hee You might ought to think twice about picking up smoking a pipe as a hobby, it could become a habit which would be bad. Isn’t smoking a pipe just as bad for you as all the other tobacco products? Have fun this weekend and be safe. Love you Aunt Ann
