The Wonderful Cross-Chris Tomlin
Better Is One Day-Matt Redman
I really appreciate Mike for filling in for me last Sunday. We had a blast at LBL and really enjoyed our time of doing absolutely nothing. Really! Our schedule was made of:
wake up
build a fire
eat
watch the fire
nap
stoke the fire
cook supper over the fire
eat
watch the fire
go to sleep.
NICE!!!! We did hit up Ft. Donelson and a few other places but there really isn’t anything to do at LBL unless you have a boat. We don’t! So we enjoyed the laziness of sitting by the fire and having church. The whole time!
So this week were gonna be missing Thomas. He’s still has to let his hand heal so we’re giving him another week. Really just taking a little at a time till he’s ready to get back on drums. You guys can be praying for Thomas plus praying for more musicians that God wants at Xtreme so in case things like this happens again, we can have back ups. However, just because we don’t have drums this Sunday, as you have heard me say before, does not disqualify worship. Our brothers and sisters in the church of Christ have wonderful worship times using just their voices and can be a beautiful thing to hear as well. Who knows. I have been know to lead a song just a capella before so don’t discount that happening at our church. I’m just saying.
If ya get a chance, show a little love to Brittany. She’s doing a great job learning the keyboards. How cool is it that God is training up musicians in our church. Really cool stuff.
See ya Sunday!
