Lord Reign In Me – Brenton Brown
Help Me To Find You – Todd Fields
You Never Let Go – Matt Redman
When I Think About The Lord – Shane and Shane
Today our drummer and pianist were on vacation so Pastor Carlo filled in on drums and I played the acoustic guitar. I was excited to be playing my acoustic with Cassandra on bass. I feel so comfortable when I lead on acoustic rather than electric. When I play electric I tend to lean more towards the entertaining side instead of leading worship.
I’m going to do the worship rewind a little different this week. Worship was so good. Not because the instrumentation but because of our fervent prayers for God to be present and people to be prepared to worship. It’s been a long while since I’ve been able to step away from the mic and let the church sing loud.
All the songs sounded so good today. There were no goof ups and the songs tended to flow through exceptionally well. A big thanks for Pastor stepping up to play the drums and Cierra our sound engineer doing a phenomenal job on making the music sound amazing and full.
We played a new song for the church today; “Help Me To Find You “. I’ve played it before during intimate get-togethers but I don’t think I’ve ever played it for Sunday morning. But it didn’t stop the church from connecting with it. Like I said, they were prepared to worship today and thoroughly enjoyed listening to the church sing. It was such a blessing to listen to them sing.
I hope your worship this Sunday was not only a blessing to you but a blessing to God. He is worthy!
